Hostellerie du Vieux Pérouges – A Sweet Tradition Since 1912
Since 1912, the Thibaut family has been keeping a centuries-old sweet tradition alive at the Hostellerie du Vieux Pérouges.
This is where the Pérouges galette was born, flavored with lemon and orange, made with Bresse butter and sugar, both crispy and melt-in-your-mouth. Every bite tells the story of the medieval village and the craftsmanship passed down through generations. Tasting this galette with Bresse cream is like savoring a piece of history and a symbol of Pérouges’ rich culinary heritage.
